Controlled beta policy
Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to the Bowl With Words Android controlled beta. The beta is a prerelease service: features, availability, and test data may change or be reset before public release.
1. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. Keep your sign-in credentials private and provide a working email address. Your public handle must follow the Community Guidelines.
2. Beta access
Access is limited, revocable, and provided for testing. We may change or discontinue beta features and may reset beta accounts, scores, matches, rewards, or other test data. Material reset plans will be disclosed to testers before the reset whenever practical.
3. Acceptable use
Do not harass people, impersonate others, manipulate scores or matches, exploit defects, interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, evade safety controls, or submit unlawful or objectionable content. Do not attempt to access another player’s private data or administrative systems.
4. Safety actions and appeals
Players can report and block other players. Human reviewers—not automated systems—own enforcement and appeal decisions. During the controlled beta, reviewed reports may be dismissed, result in a warning, or result in a temporary restriction on social participation. The affected player receives a notice and can submit one appeal from the app; a fresh human review, recorded separately from the original decision, must uphold or reverse the action. Controlled-beta staffing may not always permit a different person to perform that review.
5. Game and service rights
Bowl With Words, its artwork, audiovisual presentation, rules implementation, and software are protected materials. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the beta. They do not transfer ownership or permit redistribution, reverse engineering beyond rights granted by law, resale, or creation of a competing service from protected assets.
6. Availability and disclaimer
The beta is provided as available for evaluation. It may contain defects, lose availability, or reset test data. To the extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that the beta will be uninterrupted, error-free, or preserve prerelease data.
7. Changes and contact
When these Terms materially change, the version changes and renewed acceptance is required before public-handle or social participation. Questions can be submitted through the in-app Support Center or to legal@bowlwithwords.com.
